More than 100 small-scale miners from various parts of the region and outside the Geita Region have received a new hope full of various exploration, extraction and refining techniques from the Tanzania Institute of Minerals and Minerals Research (GST).
GST through its experts has shed new light on small-scale miners through the presentation of topics on the use of modern mining techniques.
GST through its experts has presented relevant topics in a variety of ways including Best Practice for Mining, Mining and Refining.
Along with this seminar GST had the opportunity to be visited by small-scale miners eager to see the Mineral Exploration equipment as well as to understand how Geological information is processed.
Speaking to GST shortly after the seminar ended a small scale miner who is also a member of the small scale miners in Geita region GEREMA Mariam Kome thanked GST for providing new light especially in Mining Processing.
And a small miner from Mwanza James said this seminar will bring productivity in his search, mining as he has often been digging without knowing the methods of mining But through this seminar I have found enlightenment.
This three-day seminar ended today as miners continue to receive education through exhibitions of various items.
